In the same way, as featured on Everyday Carry, the all-new Hybrid was designed based on your feedback. We listened carefully and we acted upon it. So here you have it - the Urban Organizer Hybrid - the most versatile and essential piece of gear in your carry.
While the original Urban Organizer was designed as a highly functional gear caddy, and the Mini as a slim minimalist wallet - the Hybrid is designed as a versatile do-it-all. It sits in the sweet spot between the Original and the Mini, and its greatest strength lies in the multitude of ways that it can be configured in the most compact way possible.
This EDC pocket caddy can carry most folding knives, flashlights, and pens, along with your passport and a Field Notes sized notebook. The front slots are designed to fit your favorite writing tool and your most commonly carried tool, or simply just your cards, while the back slot can hold your folded bills, cards, and receipts.
While designing the Hybrid, we prioritized design affordance - and that is why the slots are interchangeable in its use. This gives you greater flexibility to customize the Hybrid to your exact requirements.
As expected, all materials for the Hybrid have been sourced domestically from the US. The leather is incredibly strong yet supple - a premium full-grain leather from the venerable Horween Leather Company. As you use it, the leather will develop a beautiful patina and it’ll only get better with time.
The leather is held together by a thick waxed poly cord for maximum strength. It also features a solid brass double capped rivet at its highest stress point for extra durability, and our subtle compass logo is laser engraved on the back.
These are individually hand-stitched using the saddle-stitching method. Saddle stitching is the strongest sewing technique known to man and can only be performed by hand with careful attention to detail.
The edges are burnished and waxed with Fiebing’s Atom Wax for extended longevity. The Hybrid is proudly made in California and we're confident that you'll appreciate all the subtle details that complete this rugged and refined EDC storage solution.
